How the qualification is organised

The course has two equally weighted papers. Paper names, timings and topic labels follow the selected AQA route.

  • Paper 1: Computational thinking and programming skills - 2 hours, 90 marks and 50%.
  • Paper 2: Computing concepts - 1 hour 45 minutes, 90 marks and 50%.
