Computing, Covered - GCSE Computer Science

For parents and carers

See what your child can use, how the trial works and how their work is protected.

What is included

A step-by-step course covering computer science theory, Python programming and both exam papers. Learners also have a Course Guide, revision sessions and practical challenges.

  • The three-day trial begins after the account email is verified.
  • No card is needed for the trial, and it does not turn into a paid plan.
  • A parent or carer must create and pay for an account used by someone under 18.

Saved work and privacy

Lessons, revision attempts and code stay with the same account. If a learner returns after the trial, their saved progress is still there.

  • Individual learners see their own work.
  • School teachers see only students in classes they are authorised to teach.
  • Website analytics never receives learner answers or code.

Support and safeguarding

Computing, Covered helps with GCSE study, but it is not a school safeguarding service or emergency contact.

  • Programming tools are available after sign-in.
  • The free public examples focus on reading and tracing code.
  • Use the Contact page for account, payment, privacy or accessibility questions.
